Gender is Vast 2, 2023

Patchwork - Cotton Bandana, Tie-dyed Calico, Felt, Embroidery Thread and Glass Beads, 30cm x 30cm 

I made this Gender is Vast 2.0 as my first contribution to a community quilt, this one is known as Euphoria Quilt. The first version had a Trans flag coloured background, this time I combined the Trans flag colours (light pink, light blue and white) and the Bisexual flag colours (dark blue, purple and pink) because to me these express the essence of ‘Gender is Vast’ because Gender isnt a binary and my Bisexual attractions also doesnt fit into a gender binary either.
