Little Guyana Illustrations, 2023

This is a collection of illustrations based on my cousin’s wedding. It was my first time going to a Indo-Caribbean (Guyanese and Trini) Hindu/Christian wedding which involved the Mehndi (henna) night, the Maticoor Ceremony (spiritual cleansing practice) with vegetarian food, a Christian Ceremony and then the Kangan with games, chilling and delicious food. After the wedding on Long Island we headed to Queens to visit family and see Little Guyana before heading to Big Guyana.
