Big Guyana Illustrations, 2023

This is a collection of illustrations I made of my first time visiting Guyana where my Maternal family come from. A country which is both South American and Caribbean. You can read about the whole trip HERE but for a quick summary based on these illustrations we explored Georgetown (including the National Museum, Roy Geddes Steel Pan Museum and Guyana Amazon Tropical Bird Society), Mahaica, West Bank Demerara and Essequibo/Parika on the coast. We flew to Lethem where we drove 2.5 hours to Wichabai Ranch in the South Rupununi savannah, then a 5 hour drive through the North Rupununi savannah to the Iwokrama River Lodge in the Amazon Rainforest where we stayed for a few days then drove 6 hours back up to the coast.
